January 5, 2010 – Deadline to register to vote for school referendum

January 5, 2010, 6pm – Special council meeting, Municipal Building

January 11, 2010, 6pm – Council worksession meeting, Municipal Building

January 12, 2010, noon (Tues.) – Legislative reorganization, Statehouse, Trenton.  Newly-reelected 18th District (which includes Edison) representatives Peter Barnes and Pat Diegnan will take their oaths of office for their new 2-year terms, as Sen. Barbara Buono continues in her 4-year term in the Senate.  Followed by the State of the State address at 2:30

January 12, 2010, 7pm – Planning Board worksession, followed by regular meeting at 7:30, Municipal Building

January 13, 2010, 7pm – Council regular meeting, Municipal Building

January 19, 2010, time TBA – Zoning Board regular meeting, Municipal Building

January 25, 2010, 6pm – Council worksession meeting, Municipal Building

January 25, 2010, 7pm – Board of Education meeting, J.P. Stevens High School

January 26, 2010, noon to 9pm – School referendum vote.  The Edison Board of Education seeks public approval to borrow money to fund school improvements and a new elementary school

January 26, 2010, 7pm. Mayor Toni Ricigliano gives the State of the Towship address at the Pines Manor

January 27, 2010, 7pm – Council regular meeting, Municipal Building
